Jim Roth, PMP, CPPM, CPC, CPB – Jim has been the General Manager / Chief of Operations for the Urology Group of Southern California in Los Angeles, Glendale and Burbank since January 2012. As such, he is responsible for Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities, Billing and Credentialing for this primarily HMO-based urology practice. During his tenure, UGofSC has grown from one office and two providers to three offices and five providers and its revenue has tripled. He also founded Signature Urology Specialists, Inc in 2018, along with John Kowalczyk, DO, as an out-of-network, service-centered provider of urology. Prior to his career in healthcare, Jim was a leader in the field of product management, new product development and customer loyalty at Fortune 500 companies. He served as Director of Product Management and New Products at Aramark Uniform Services, including leading their fledgling customer loyalty efforts in 2008. There he launched over $100 Million in new products, as well. Jim's best-known effort, however, is the development and launch of the industry-leading Zoom! Tooth Whitening™ brand in 2001 for both in-office and take-home tooth whitening products, now owned by Philips. Jim also has the honor of being named in 12 design patents held by Moen, Inc. Jim holds certifications as a Project Management Professional, Certified Physician Practice Manager, Certified Professional Coder and Certified Professional Biller. He attended Northwestern University were he received a Bachelor of Journalism and a Master of Advertising & Marketing, Magna Cum Laude. During his free time, Jim enjoys science fiction, horology, photography, film, travel and hanging at home with his husband John and their three rescue dogs: Louie, Delgado and Woofie.
