Dr. Claudia B Perez is a Fellowship Trained Breast Surgeon, Associate Professor of Surgery, the Director of Breast Surgery, in the Department of Surgery, and the Clinical Director of the Breast Cancer Service Line at Rush MD Anderson Cancer Center, in Chicago, Rush University Medical Center. In this role, Dr. Perez collaborates on quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize breast cancer care. Actively involved in Rush's partnership within the MD Anderson Cancer Network, she is dedicated to expanding access to world-class cancer treatment. As the Associate Program Director for the residency program, Dr. Perez plays a key role in surgical education and mentorship and clinical research focused on advancing breast cancer treatment and patient outcomes through innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
