Dr. Tony L. Weaver is a native of South Alabama. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mobile & the University of North Alabama. For 8 years he proudly served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. ​Dr. Weaver received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale Florida graduating with honors. He then completed his general surgery training at the world renowned Mayo Clinic and the Baptist Health System in Birmingham. For his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training Dr. Weaver attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Dr. Weaver is a double board certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, holding active AOA/AOBS Board Certifications in General & Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. In addition to his clinical training, he also completed the AOA & New York Institute of Technology Training in Policy Studies program lead by Drs. Barbara Ross-Lee and Hank Chaudhry. Dr. Weaver has authored a half dozen peer reviewed research articles and his work has been presented at multiple regional, national and international conferences. Beyond his professional achievements Dr. Tony Weaver is particularly proud of his Native American heritage (Choctaw). However, the most meaningful role in his life is not that of a physician or surgeon it is the role as husband and father. His wife Jenny & four children remain the most important part of his life.
