John-Michael Villarama, MA is the Vice President of Public Policy for the American Osteopathic Association. John-Michael has over two decades of experience in healthcare policy and leads AOA's efforts in developing effective partnerships to influence policy in the legislative and executive branches of government in support of the osteopathic profession. Prior to joining the AOA, John-Michael served as health policy staff in the U. S. Senate. John-Michael holds a master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U. S. Naval War College.
