Dr. Gashti is a board certified vascular surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive (Endovascular) surgery. Following completion of a General Surgery residency in New York, he completed fellowships in General Vascular surgery and Endovascular surgery in New Jersey and Baltimore respectively. He has been in private practice since 1999. Dr. Gashti's areas of interest include the diagnosis and management of Carotid artery occlusive disease, including the latest minimally invasive treatment (TCAR), Abdominal and Thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection, lower extremity arterial occlusive disease(PAD) including limb salvage, all aspects of dialysis access creation and maintenance, and venous disease. Dr. Gashti has been involved in the education and training of medical students, residents and vascular surgery fellows for many years. He has served as faculty assistant professor of surgery at U. Of Miami, Nova Southeastern and Florida Atlantic University schools of Medicine.
