Chronic Wounds in the Rural Environment

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the necessity for quality wound care in an aging population with a rise in chronic diseases as it applies to rural medicine
• Learn how establishing a wound care center can benefit rural practice/hospitals/communities
• Identify obstacles to managing wound care patients in a rural setting
